08.15.2008  Looking Back at 100 Years of the GCA

The first GCA dinner was held on December 10, 1908 at the Engineers Club.  Sixty contractors met at a dinner and resolved to form the General Contractors Association.

The New York City Department of Transportation has issued a special construction embargo in August for their summer streets initiative, for the US Open and for the West Indian Day Parade.
